While sitting on the stone wall out front, having coffee and watching nature, human and otherwise, pass by on the Avenue, the details of this hydro pole caught my attention and I paid it attention.
The wooden tree in its new role, the rusty iron pole, the plastic conduits, the metal spacers, the holes with black rubber lining ….
The purpose for all this – the wires.
Then the long shadows directed gaze westward …. the village just over the hill ….. and a bird went by.
