The tea is sage (powder: I would have used leaves but did not have any), a bay leaf and plain, simple rooibos (in tea bag form which I get from a local grocery store that carries African products). Steeped for ten minutes or more. The sou'wester was from a garage sale; lady had purchased it in Newfoundland.
