I wonder what would happen if, during a movie, during one of those scenes when we are all trying desperately to hide the fact that we are moved to tearful emotion, someone in the audience suddenly gave vent to loud sobs. Would it be a solo performance. I doubt it. I'm sure the dam in me would burst and I would be a participant. It could be mass embarassment but it would likely be a great relief. The thought of it has me chuckling at the moment.
