    I have written a number of poems over my lifetime.  Haiku is a favourite.

    Haiku: trees at sunrise

    Trees in silhouette

    Softened by newborn buds; soon

    Contrast will be gone.

     Two geese…..

    Two geese attempting

    To form a V, having to

    Settle on an I.

    Spring haiku

    Fingertips of rain

    Tapping morse code secrets on

    "Wont-tell-a-soul " leaves.

    Memory  haiku

    One of my sons looked 

    Up at the moon and gave me

    The gift of   "sky ball".
