Recently I'v become enamoured of the suffix " – ish". When asked how I am feeling but not sure how I am feeling, I will say "Well-ish" and likely raise my hand and rotate my palm back and forth. Now that palm motion may be an expression of "-ish" and suitable on its own. So is a minor shoulder shrug. Or a slight angle of head with raised eyebrows.
Now if someone asks "You aren't looking great, are you okay?" my positive/negative self has a bit of a tussle and I am apt to reply. "I'm fine, thanks for asking, how are you doing?" Problem is, the other person might start telling me all about his or her troubles!
I googled Gestures and came up with much information! The most often used gesture was the thumbs up sign.👍
