A piece on the radio got me putting this question online: How long will it take the Europa Clipper to reach Jupiter?
And I came up with this: The craft will take 5.5 years and travel 1.8 billion miles (2.9 billion km) to Jupiter's fourth-largest moon, according to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).
Almost five and a half years! More than a billion miles!
I am intrigued and impressed and delighted with this knowledge.
In 5 1/2 years I will be in my early eighties. Wonder what the situation will be like then.
