(re-post)
I planted this wearable garden – flax seeds and sunflower seeds – ages ago – hang on a sec while I go and check the blog archives to give a date to "ages ago"…..
It was back in August.
Across the last month I have, a couple of times, thought it was finished and time to unplant it and start again; it certainly became more of a consideration to wear, the height of the plants requiring constant attention. But it was still so vibrant – so alive…. Now it is in a droop that even water will not perk up.
So I will take it apart and return the greenery to the earth.
I am so touched by the co-operation of those teeny flax seeds, those sunflower seeds, to express thusly in a pocket of plastic and come a'walking with me; to continue to grow and delight when not out and about but hanging above the sink where I see them many many times a day.
Thank you….garden!
