Shortest day of the year – Winter Solstice - December 21 - Equinox (when day and night are equal).
Over my many years I have worn white for the three weeks leading up to this – acknowledging the increasing dark and then the slow returning of the light .
Today I will be wearing this white handkerchief tucked into the pocket of my blouse ..
