From page 71 of the Five Roses Cookbook recipe is called Oat Delights – I don’t have the cookbook – just the page from it – one of the culls of a move!
Oak Delights
2 c sugar
6 tbsp cocoa
1/2 c butter
1/2 c milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
5 c Ogilvie Regular Oats
Bring first four ingred to boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and add rest. Drop onto waxed paper and let cool.
